Meet the Management
Steve Kirsch is a serial entrepreneur who is now on his 7th company. Steve invented the optical mouse, pioneered desktop publishing (FrameMaker), Internet search (Infoseek) and in more recent history he is widely known as a security and identity expert. Steve has had over $2 billion in exits from his previous companies, solidifying his legacy as a successful Silicon Valley leader. Steve is now dedicating his talents, energy and expertise to build a state-of-the-art payment infrastructure.
Todd is a seasoned Sales Executive and serial entrepreneur. After 12 years with Accenture, Todd has spent the last 18 years at high growth companies, with four consecutive successful exits in Financial Services Technology and Enterprise Software. During his journey, Todd grew two companies from pre-revenue to over $60M in bookings within 3 years. Todd has been focused on the banking and financial services industries for a decade, and has secured over 250 banks as customers.
Marten is a technology entrepreneur/executive who has been getting things done in startups and Fortune 100 software companies for over 20 years. His experience spans Product Development, Business Strategy, Business Development and Marketing. Token is his third company to found. Abaca, a leading email security company was sold to Proofpoint and the edtech LearnCentral was sold to Blackboard.
Alexey has an extensive and diverse background building and scaling software systems to thousands of servers and millions of users. He started his career at Microsoft and then at Google on the platform and infrastructure teams for Google Voice and Google Docs.
Alexey joined Square in 2011 as one of the founding engineers of the Payments Platform team where he architected the new Square Payments stack and scaling it to meet Square’s aggressive expansion plans to cover multiple products, partners and markets.
